Albendazole: 100 mg
DESCRIPTION
Albendazole is a synthetic anthelmintic from the benzimidazole group, effective against a wide range of parasites. It is highly active against gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, and tapeworms in cattle, sheep, and goats. Additionally, albendazole is effective against adult liver flukes in these animals, providing comprehensive control over various parasitic infections.
INDICATIONS
ALBENDOL 10% ORAL is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of worm infections in cattle, sheep, and goats.
Gastrointestinal worms: Bunostomum, Chabertia, Cooperia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Strongyloides, and Trichostrongylus spp.
Lungworms: Dictyocaulus viviparus and D. filaria
Tapeworms: Moniezia spp.
Liver fluke infestations: Mature Fasciola hepatica
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not administer in the first 45 days of pregnancy.
SIDE EFFECTS
Hypersensitivity reactions.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
For oral administration via drinking water. Shake well before use.
Cattle: 1 ml per 12 kg bodyweight.
Sheep: 1 ml per 20 kg bodyweight.
Goats: 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight.
In case of liver fluke infestations:
Cattle: 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight.
Sheep: 1 ml per 12 kg bodyweight.
Repeat treatment only on the advice of your veterinarian.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: 12 days
Milk: 4 days
STORAGE
Store in a dry and dark place between 8 °C and 25 °C.
Store in closed packing.
Keep away from children.
PACKING
Bottle of 1,000 ml (12 bottles per box).
Can of 5,000 ml (4 cans per box).
