Ampicillin is a synthetic penicillin derivative known for its broad-spectrum effectiveness against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. It acts by eliminating bacteria and is stable in acidic conditions, ensuring reliable absorption when administered through the gastrointestinal tract. This makes AmpiCure 50 ideal for use in drinking water to control systemic bacterial infections in poultry.
INDICATIONS
AmpiCure 50 is primarily used in poultry to prevent and treat infections affecting the gastrointestinal, respiratory, or urinary tracts. It is effective against a variety of bacteria, including:
Staphylococcus spp.
Streptococcus spp.
Klebsiella spp.
Clostridium spp.
Shigella spp.
Proteus spp.
Pasteurella spp.
E. coli
CONTRAINDICATIONS
AmpiCure 50 should not be administered to animals known to be allergic to penicillins or those suffering from impaired kidney function or ongoing microbial digestion.
SIDE EFFECTS
In rare cases, gastrointestinal disturbances may occur.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Intended for oral use via drinking water.
Recommended dosage:
200 g per 1000 liters of drinking water administered continuously for 5 to 7 days.
Ensure that the medicated water is consumed within 4 hours of preparation for maximum efficacy.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
It is recommended to confirm the sensitivity of the causative bacteria before initiating treatment with AmpiCure 50. Dosage adjustments may be necessary based on the water consumption of the flock or herd. Do not use AmpiCure 50 concurrently with bacteriostatic antibiotics.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
