COMPOSITION
Each ml contains
Diclazuril: 25 mg
DESCRIPTION
Diclazuril is a triazinone antiprotozoal agent used to treat infections caused by Isospora spp., Toxoplasma gondii, and Eimeria spp. It is highly effective in managing coccidiosis. Diclazuril acts on both the asexual and sexual stages of coccidia, blocking the excretion of oocysts and thereby interrupting the parasite's life cycle, effectively controlling the spread of the infection.
INDICATIONS
DICLAZOVET 2.5% ORAL is indicated for the prevention and treatment of coccidial infections in:
Lambs caused by Eimeria crandallis and Eimeria ovinoidalis
Calves caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii
Poultry caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. mitis (mivati), and E. maxima
DICLAZOVET effectively targets E. maxima later in its life cycle, which may result in temporary subclinical intestinal lesions post-infection. It has been shown to reduce lesion scores and enhance the health and performance of birds infected with Eimeria species, ensuring optimal growth and productivity.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption.
SIDE EFFECTS
None.
