LEVOCLOZ 90 ORAL

COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains
Levamisole HCl: 30 mg
Oxyclozanide: 60 mg



DESCRIPTION:
LEVOCLOZ 90 ORAL is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic and fasciolicide combining levamisole and oxyclozanide, effective against roundworms, lungworms, nematodes, flukes, and Fasciola spp. in cattle, sheep, and goats.

  • Levamisole: Paralyzes and rapidly expels adult and larval stages      of worms.

  • Oxyclozanide: Targets adult liver flukes by disrupting their energy      metabolism.

Provides comprehensive protection against parasitic infections, ensuring healthier livestock.



INDICATIONS:
LEVOCLOZ 90 ORAL is effective for treating endoparasitic infections in cattle, calves, sheep, and goats caused by parasites susceptible to levamisole or oxyclozanide, including:

  • Bunostomum spp., Chabertia spp., Cooperia spp., Dictyocaulus     spp. (lungworm), Fasciola spp., Haemonchus spp., Nematodirus     spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Trichostrongylus spp., and Ostertagia spp.

It targets both immature and adult parasites in cattle, but not inhibited larvae of Ostertagia. In sheep, it is effective against inhibited larvae of Ostertagia, Haemonchus, and Trichostrongylus axei.



CONTRA-INDICATIONS:

  • Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to levamisole or oxyclozanide.

  • Not for use in lactating animals if milk is intended for human consumption.

  • Avoid administration to animals with impaired liver function.


SIDE EFFECTS:

  • Levamisole: At recommended doses, side effects are rare. At higher doses, transient symptoms may include head shaking, salivation, sweating, coughing, hyperpnea, vomiting, colic spasms, and muscle tremors, more commonly in cattle than in sheep.

  • Oxyclozanide: May cause softening of feces, occasional increased defecation, and transient inappetence in cattle.


INCOMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER DRUGS:

  • Do not administer together with pyrantel, morantel, or organophosphates.


PRECAUTION:

  • Avoid skin contact. If skin contact occurs, wash immediately with soap and water. If eye contact occurs, flush eyes immediately with water and seek medical attention. Wash hands after use.


DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For oral administration via drinking water. Shake well before use.

  • Cattle, Calves, Sheep, Goats: 1 ml per 4 kg bodyweight.

Administration with a drenching gun is recommended. After administration, move animals to a clean pasture to prevent re-infection. If this is not done, a second treatment is advisable after 10-14 days.

  • Dose accurately to prevent development of resistance caused by underdosing. Adjust medication concentrations according to changes in water intake.

  • Repeat treatment only on the advice of a veterinarian.

Mixed with drinking water, use the product within 24 hours.



WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

  • Meat: 28 days


STORAGE:
Store in a dry and dark place between 8°C and 25°C.
Store in closed packing.
Keep away from children.



PACKING:

  • Bottle of 1,000 ml (12 bottles per box).

  • Can of 5,000 ml (4 cans per box).
