DESCRIPTION
RONIVET 100 WSP is a highly effective antiprotozoal and antiparasitic treatment designed to control Trichomoniasis (canker) and Hexamitiasis in homing pigeons, fancy birds, and falcons. The active ingredient, Ronidazole, targets Trichomonads (canker) and Hexamites, helping to prevent subclinical infections that can lead to poor vitality and condition, making birds more prone to other illnesses.
The powder formulation of RONIVET 100 WSP is ideal for both treatment and prevention, ensuring optimal health and performance in birds by addressing these infections early.
INDICATIONS
RONIVET 100 WSP is indicated for the treatment and prevention of Trichomoniasis (canker) and Hexamites. It is also effective against other protozoan infections that present with symptoms such as:
Excessive mucus in the throat
Deposits in the throat, larynx, and trachea
Green diarrhea and vomiting
Increased thirst and weight loss
Severe dehydration
Death of young birds in the nest or shortly after weaning
This formulation helps maintain the health of homing pigeons, fancy birds, and falcons by effectively controlling protozoan diseases.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Not permitted for use on pigeons intended for human consumption.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
For oral administration via drinking water.
Homing pigeons: For prevention during the racing season:
2 g for 20 pigeons (10 kg live-weight) per 2 liters of drinking water for 2 days, then every 2 weeks, preferably starting the day after the race.
As treatment for pigeons and large cage birds:
2 g per 2 liters of drinking water for 5-7 consecutive days. The treatment may be repeated after a few days if necessary.
Mixed with drinking water, the product must be used within 24 hours.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Not permitted for use on pigeons intended for human consumption.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS WHEN ADMINISTERING THIS PRODUCT
Ronidazole can cause cancer and hereditary genetic damage.
Do not breathe the substance and avoid contact with the skin.
Wear a dust mask and suitable gloves when handling the powder and suitable gloves when handling the solution.
Remove splashes on the skin immediately and rinse with water.
Do not eat or drink during application.
STORAGE
Store in a dry and dark place between 15 °C and 25 °C.
Store in closed packing.
Keep medicine away from children.
