DESCRIPTION:
Tilmicosin is a broad-spectrum, semi-synthetic bactericidal macrolide antibiotic derived from tylosin. It is effective in calves, pigs, rabbits, turkeys, and poultry, with potent action against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is particularly effective against Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, and Haemophilus species, making it an ideal treatment for infections in various livestock.
INDICATIONS:
TilmiCare 25 is used to treat respiratory infections caused by tilmicosin-susceptible microorganisms, including:
Mycoplasma spp.
Pasteurella multocida
Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae
Actinomyces pyogenes
It is specifically formulated to manage respiratory health and bacterial infections in livestock, ensuring their well-being.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Do not administer to animals with known hypersensitivity to tilmicosin.
Avoid use in animals with severely impaired liver and/or renal function.
Not suitable for ruminants, equine, or caprine species with active microbial digestion.
Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption or animals intended for breeding.
During pregnancy and lactation, administer only after a careful risk/benefit assessment by a veterinarian.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Transient reduction in water or (artificial) milk intake.
INCOMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER DRUGS:
Do not administer with other macrolides or lincosamides.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For oral administration via drinking water or milk (calves).
Calves: 1 ml per 20 kg bodyweight, twice daily for 3–5 days.
Poultry, Turkeys: 300 ml per 1,000 liters of drinking water for 3–5 days.
Pigs: 800 ml per 1,000 liters of drinking water for 5–7 days.
Rabbits: 1 ml per 20 kg bodyweight, twice daily for 3–5 days.
Mixed with drinking water or artificial milk, use the product within 24 hours. Adjust the concentration according to actual water intake to ensure accurate dosing.

STORAGE:
Store in a dry and dark place between 8°C and 25°C.
Store in closed packing.
Keep away from children.
