DESCRIPTION:
The combination of trimethoprim (TMP) and sulfamethoxazole (SMX) provides a synergistic antibacterial effect, making it highly effective against a broad range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is commonly used to treat urinary, respiratory, and intestinal infections caused by pathogens such as:
Staphylococci and Streptococci
E. coli, Klebsiella spp., and Salmonella spp.
Proteus mirabilis and Pasteurella spp.
Enterobacter aerogenes and Haemophilus influenzae
Corynebacterium spp. and Avibacterium paragallinarum
This combination is widely effective for systemic and localized bacterial infections.
INDICATIONS:
TRIMASUL 120 ORAL is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary tract infections caused by bacteria sensitive to trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole. It is effective in calves, sheep, goats, pigs, and poultry, providing broad-spectrum antibacterial action for managing a wide range of bacterial infections.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Do not administer to animals with severely impaired liver and/or renal function.
Avoid use in animals with known hypersensitivity to sulfonamides or trimethoprim.
Not recommended for animals with impaired hematopoietic systems.
Do not administer to animals suffering from oliguria (reduced urine output) or anuria (absence of urine output).
Not suitable for use in layers producing eggs for human consumption.

Do not combine with other veterinary medicinal products.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For oral administration via drinking water.
Calves, Sheep, Goats: 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight twice daily for 5 days.
Pigs: 1,000 ml per 500–1,000 liters of drinking water for 4–5 days.
Poultry: 1,000 ml per 500–1,000 liters of drinking water for 4–5 days.
Mixed with drinking water, use the product within 24 hours.

STORAGE:
Store in a dry and dark place between 8°C and 25°C.
Store in closed packing.
Keep away from children.
