COMPOSITION

Tylosin (as tartrate): 1,000 mg

DESCRIPTION
Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with bacteriostatic activity, effective against a range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Campylobacter, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and Treponema species. It is particularly effective in controlling infections caused by Mycoplasma.

INDICATIONS
TYLONOR PURE 1000 WSP is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to tylosin, such as Campylobacter, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and Treponema species. It is effective in calves, goats, poultry, sheep, and swine.

TYLONOR PURE 1000 WSP is also used both prophylactically and therapeutically for various poultry infections, particularly for managing Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD), synovitis, and sinusitis.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

Do not administer to animals with impaired kidney or liver function.
Avoid use in animals with known hypersensitivity to tylosin.
Not suitable for animals with active microbial digestion, such as ruminants.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
For oral administration via feed or drinking water.

Calves: 1 g per 50 kg bodyweight twice daily for 7 - 14 days.
Pigs: 100 g per 400 liters of drinking water for 7 - 10 days.
Poultry: 100 g per 200 liters of drinking water for 3 - 5 days.
Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately. Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
